A bilingual Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness teacher, and a Thai massage therapist, Amanda is also the Co-Director and Manager of Quiroesencia. Amanda took her first yoga class in 1999 and immediately fell in love with the tranquility this practice offers. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her master's degree in Education from the University of Michigan (USA). In 2015, she completed several meditation courses before becoming a certified yoga teacher in 2018, and she has continued her professional development ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has studied with teachers such as Tias Little (Somatic Yoga), Dr. Denis Criado (Mindfulness, Meditation and Kriya Yoga), Charlotte Watts (Yoga for Digestive Health) and Dr. Daniel Foor (subtle work), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda took her first yoga class in 1999 and immediately fell in love with the tranquility the practice offers. She is fascinated by the contrasts and oppositions within yoga, merging alignment with fluidity. She encourages her students to surrender to the sensations of the practice and to the present moment, learning to perceive and inhabit their inner perceptions. She always works with conscious breathing and mindfulness techniques to access the subtle aspects of the practice. In this way, self-awareness and self-compassion are developed, contributing to emotional well-being and releasing accumulated tension, both physical and emotional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda also specializes in "Differentiated Instruction," which means adapting and personalizing the yoga practice to the needs of each individual, taking advantage of their particular skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Massage therapist, Founder and Co-Director of Quiroesencia. A graduate in fine jewelry design, he changed the course of his life in 2009 to dedicate himself full-time to the study of manual wellness techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julio has trained at various schools of sports massage, Kobido facial massage, and spa techniques. He has studied with masters of Eastern traditions in various wellness disciplines. He has also trained in acupressure and several Kinesiotaping and Crosstaping techniques. More recently, he has studied Chromotherapy and its applications in massage, Reflexology, and Kobido Facial Massage. In addition, he has completed his training in Thai Massage with a holistic body approach applied to well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His passion for different types of sports has led him to study the functioning of the human body holistically. Julio pays close attention to biomechanical balance and how to address the imbalances that accumulate in sports, work, and the daily routines of his clients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We have personally experienced the power of combining massage with yoga, and that's why we created Quiroesencia. We specialize in what we are passionate about: managing the daily dance of seeking balance, using self-care tools to achieve inner equilibrium. We offer sports massage, relaxation massage, and yoga at our studio, located 5 minutes from the Cathedral in the heart of Granada, Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center is distinguished by its focus on the individual experience of each client, offering personalized and tailored sessions. according to each person's preferences and needs<\/strong>. Yoga classes at Quiroesencia stand out for their personalized attention in small groups, where a non-competitive environment is promoted and the focus is on the practice of mindfulness, Hatha Yoga and Somatic Yoga, allowing practitioners, whether beginners or advanced, to improve their physical and mental well-being.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
