Relaxing Massage in Granada

For when you've endured too many days

He Relaxing massage in Granada Quiroesencia is designed for people who have been putting up with things for too long. A relaxed pace, quality vegetable oil, and hands that know how to listen. A session that begins when your massage therapist asks you how you are—for real—and ends when your body no longer remembers why it came in feeling so burdened.

No tension in the neck

Out of this world

An hour without your phone, without thinking about the next item on the list. Just you, the treatment table, and the session.

How we perform relaxing massage

Each session begins with a brief conversation to understand your current state: what areas are bothering you, how you prefer the pressure, and if there's anything to avoid. From there, we work with a firm yet enveloping touch, at a slow pace, on your back, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs.

We use quality vegetable oil, soft lighting, and calming music. There's no rush: each movement lasts as long as it needs to, allowing the body to enter a state of true relaxation.

If you want to see in more detail what this practice is and what types exist, we have prepared a guide to relaxing massage which explains everything you need to know before the first session.

How your session will be, step by step

If it's your first time, knowing exactly what's going to happen takes half the nerves out of your system. Here's what you can expect from the moment you walk through the door.

1. You arrive and we sit down for a moment

You don't go straight to the treatment table. First, there's a short conversation, three or four minutes: how you slept, which areas feel the most tense, if there's anything you'd prefer we didn't touch, whether you like firm or gentle pressure. There are no wrong answers, and if you're unsure, we'll figure it out as we go.

2. We'll leave you alone to change.

We leave the room and you close the door. You remove your clothing as much as you feel comfortable—many people leave their underwear on, and that's perfectly normal—and lie face down under the towel. Throughout the session, only the area we're working on at that moment remains uncovered. The rest of your body stays covered.

3. The first few minutes are for landing

The body almost never lets go on the first try. The first ten minutes are broad, slow movements, without seeking anything specific, just so the skin registers that there's nothing to resolve here. If your mind keeps making lists for a while, that's perfectly normal. It usually quiets down on its own.

4. The body of the session

From there, we work on your back, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs with warm vegetable oil, under low light and with calming music. We'll check the pressure with you in the areas that feel most tense. If you fall asleep, that's perfectly fine: it's one of the best signals you can give us.

5. Closing, without rushing

We'll give you a few minutes' notice before we finish so there are no surprises. Then we'll leave you alone again; you can sit up slowly and have a glass of water with us if you like. No one will rush you: that's why we set aside an extra ten minutes around each session.

You can say it. Always.

What helps us do our job well is when you tell us what you need, right when you need it. You won't bother us, interrupt us, or offend us. Here are some phrases you can use without hesitation:

  • «"A little less pressure here, please."»
  • «"Yes, stay a little longer."»
  • «"I'd rather you didn't touch my feet."»
  • «"I'm cold."»
  • «"I prefer that we don't talk much."»

And if you prefer not to speak at all during the session, you can also tell us at the beginning. It's as valid an option as any other, and much more common than you might think.

Is this your first time? We'll tell you. what exactly happens in a first session, including the questions that almost no one asks out loud.
